Girly Necklaces

The nesting/girly stuff continues. I am actually really pleased with how these turned out. I've been wanting to make cute necklaces for Tabby and Ella for a while but I never could find beads that I liked. Then a friend told me that she finds other jewelry, takes them apart and uses the beads she likes. I never thought of looking for beads from things that were already made! I mail ordered some of the beads, used some I already had, and found the rest on some cheap-o bracelets and necklaces at Tilly's. Cost me around $15.00 all together. If you have the right tools, they are easy and fun to make!

Sorry for the bad pics, I totally don't know how to photograph jewelry.

We substituted Tabby's primary class yesterday and, maybe you won't think this is hilarious as I did, but I said something about translating the BoM and a few of the kids were babbling stuff and I just picked out Tabby saying "I speak bird." It killed me.

Cute jewelry. Cute new boy cooking too. I just saw that, congrats. I'm glad everything is going so smoothly this time around! Love the name Gunnar too. Very fitting for your family.

They are SOOO cute. What a good idea to steal beads from other jewelery. I would have never thought of that.

Very cute! My sister makes jewelry and I keep thinking I need to learn from her. This has inspired me!

Love the necklaces! What a creative idea to use different things from different necklaces and cheap too! That sucks about your rental! I guess you have your mind set on Gilbert, but there are tons of houses for rent in Pecan Creek. We should swap crafting parties...you can come to our decor parties and I should come have you show me the ins and outs of jewelry and bow making!
