The Tree - That's About It

We had our Morris Family Christmas Tree Lighting Spectacular the other night. Here's some pics of how it's looking.
It seems sorta blah to me this year. It needs something... Maybe more ribbon? More bling? More things shooting out of it all over? Bigger ornaments? I think I will hit up the day after Christmas clearances and get something different for it for next year. You can never have enough stuff on your tree.Something new I added this year was black decorations. Dale said he didn't know about it but ended up liking how the colors looked when it was all finished.
Wal-Mart has boxes of black shatterproof (a.k.a. Ella proof) ornaments for only $5.00!

As for all the other decorations, Dale got out all the bins from the attic last Saturday and they've been sitting in my living room ever since. I've been feeling so awful and tired, I haven't felt like even opening them. Which is really odd for me since usually my house is decorated for Christmas before December. Seriously, the tree should be grateful it got put up. I think the only reason it got done was because Tabby was dying to decorate it with me. Note the high concentration of ornaments at right about her height.

I love the tree and um, the black ornaments are my favo, especially with them being shatter proof. Love it. I just read your older post and I'm sorry to hear about all the problems but I'm so glad he found another job. Good luck with this pregnancy. I wish I was there to help in some way. I miss my Castlegaters badly! Take care of yourself and lay low. My sister had this same problem her entire pregnancy and delivered a very health and full term baby boy! IT can be done. Oh and it was her 5th too! :)

If your tree is blah, then I'm not gonna even bother putting up my pathetic little tree with my pathetic little Walgreen's decorations. I have been debating it as Cannon will most likely tip it over and destroy it anyway. It's not like I can put presents under it even if it did get put up, because that's really just an invitation to my kids. Anyway- I think your tree looks great! :)
