It Has Come To This

I'm tearing up as I'm writing this. Yes, we are moving. To Gilbert. The bank won't renegotiate our loan, we have to leave. We aren't the only ones it's happened to and we won't be the last I guess. We lost A LOT of our income sometime around the middle of last year and that's how we got so behind. It's really weird feeling like you are unwelcome in your own home after you have lived there almost 4 years. Of course it's not our home anymore because we couldn't pay the mortgage but it's still so odd to feel like we are intruders here.

I'm pretty sure we are moving the last Saturday in February. It's so soon, I know. I'm going to miss everyone here so much, I can't even express it. Who the crap am I going to run with? Who am I going to do crafts with? Who am I going to eat potato soup with at Applebees? -You know who you are (WENDY.)

The good news is we were able to find a home that is unbelievably cheap for the area it's in and Dale's work commute will only be 10 minutes! The house itself is nothing to crow at. It's smaller than the 1600 sf house we live in now but I can't seem to keep this one clean so a smaller one is guaranteed to work in my favor, right? And it has a pool! That will make being pregnant in the summer much more enjoyable. We are also going to be living very close to Dale's brothers which we are really excited about.
No I did not get a new Kitchen Aid mixer (I wish.) These are the first of many boxes to be packed up so we can move away from the ward and friends I have come to love so dearly... Waaaaaaa!

That is so sad! You are like my honary ward friend. What am I going to do? I might have to start trying to make friends. Scary. You will have to keep posting on all your crafty ventures, so that I can aspire to them. I know we don't hang out a lot, but I just want to thank you for being such a good friend. We have had our little struggles as far as church goes and you have always been so sweet about it. At least we can stay in touch through good old blogs.

This IS sad! I'm so sorry to hear you're leaving. If you want, me and my prego belly will come and hang out with you and your prego belly in your pool when it gets hot...

We need lots more girl time together before you go!

I have never even crafted with you, how unfair is that!

Oh Alys, I am so sad that you are moving. I loved watching you at church and thinking, oh she is so sassy, I think I could try that outfit....

I hope the move goes smoothly, and the pregnancy too...thankgoodness for blogs. If you still do crafting stuff with people out here let me know, I would love to join in maybe!

Oh Alys...I am so sorry! That stinks! I thought lenders were being more leaniant due to a lot of people being in that boat, but I guess some are still jerks! I hope everything works out and that this will end up being a positive thing for your family. Hang in there!

Total bummer. But life goes on and you will meet lots of fun new people in Gilbert. Just stay in card/craft group and do your running from Gilbert to Queen Creek (isn't that about 20 miles?) and call it good. But, a pool? Now that's tempting. Wyatt's going to be sad that his awesome new teachers are leaving. We'll miss you for sure.

Oh so sad! You and your family will be so greatly missed! I'm sure it will be a good experience though, and you will make friends easily. And so nice to be close to Dale's work! I wish Mike only worked 10 minutes away instead of an hour away! :) But we sure will miss you.

Okay...so I can't even sit here and type this...I am way to sad, and overly, pregnantly emotional( I know that doesn't even make sense..)...I am so sad you are moving and I promise that when I call you a jerk for moving, I don't really mean it because you know I will miss you so much!! Atleast I will have a buddy that lives in Gilbert that I can visit when I am in town....okay. I am still really sad..that didn't really help. Let me know how I can help..even it if is just to give you company while you pack your boxes just the way you want them!
