Old School

Yes! I'm so happy Big Wheels made a comeback! Who had one of these when they were a kid? I spent many happy days zipping around on mine. We found them at Target today and thanks to Grandma, now my kids get to have the same sweet ride I did.

Just for my lovely friend Alys I put my photo to match with your post.....you are not old school unless you have pimped out riding a BIG WHEEL. See corresponding photo to right.

Omaheck....just the looks on their faces is worth all the rides I NEVER got to have on a big wheel...on account of only boys rode them at the Morris house. Kudos to you and Dale and Grandma for knowing what kids really want - giant trikes with the pedals and handlebars about 4 inches out of reach! You are the best....it kinda makes me think you guys should have another kid....

Alys, I hope you made it back from Cali! I did a post with Heather's wedding photo's that I took. Let me know when I can see all of the wonderful photo's you took. Maybe I can use some of the ones that you took of her getting ready in the morning for the wedding video. Let me know.

I love big wheels! I am totally gonna have to invest in one for Porter. I had one when I was little, and I would turn it upside down and pretend it was a cotton candy machine. Interesting child, but fun memories.

My brother had one of these. When I was 3, I was up on a 8 ft. "A" ladder and he decided it would be cool to ride under it on his big wheel and his wheel hit the ladder and knoced me off and broke my arm. I totally want to get one of these for my kiddos though!

I love the fact that Tabby is wearing a tiara while riding on her bigwheel! So girly, love it!
